Freelance writing can be rewarding, but finding work? Not fun for everyone!

(Although I kind of like the acquisition process.)

Put these freelance tips into action to fill up your business pipeline and be flush with jobs in no time.

Hang Your Shingle and Shine a Light On It:

Tap friends, ex-colleagues, or acquaintances and let them know that you’re open for business. Tell them that you’re available for writing assignments and be specific about the type of freelance writing you’ve done recently as well as clients from the past year. Someone’s blog, business, or marketing project probably needs your skills.

Publish Content:

Showcase your expertise by blogging in your niche or writing LinkedIn articles on topics that would appeal to your ideal client. A strong blog helps potential clients see your skills and positions you as an authority
