I love to read millionaire stories, founder stories, and I’m very interested in how successful people got to where there are.

I especially love when it’s someone I know who has skills that I do and turned it into a million-dollar net worth.

Meet Amy Gorin, MS, RDN. She’s the founder of Master the Media. It’s a media training and certification program that helps health professioanls — like nutrition experts, personal trainers, occupational therapists and mental health professionals — learn how to earn money with paid partnerships and how to work with media.

She started off as a magazine editor and went back to school to get her nutrition degree, eventually getting paid as a freelance writer back when rates were occasionally $2 a word (!)

She wrote for many publications and was quoted in tons of media outlets you read, watch and have listened to. In fact, I think I met Gorin at a work event or somewhere in NYC and our paths crossed. I’ve used her for quite a few articles as a source.

Not only is she extremely driven and super successful but…she’s also really freakin’ nice.

In addition to revenue from Master the Media, Gorin has earned $1.7 million in brand and media work since she left publishing in 2015. She’s been quoted in thousands of articles and reaches an audience of 3 billion through her media work.

In recent years, she's been pulling in well over $200,000 a year in brand sponsorships alone.

Pretty impressive, right?
